Mother Deer is a beautiful & playful show for family audiences that captures their imaginations & inspires them to think about our environment, the animals & their place in the natural world: Based on an ancient Northern European Folk tale about the Winter Solstice, Mother Deer blends aerial acrobatics, dance & sensory theatre in a feast of festive storytelling, full of mischief, wonder & magic.
This family show for ages 3+ has been commissioned by Circomedia with support from the Leche Trust and Garrick Charitable Trust. The show was inspired by The Lost Words book by Jackie Morris & Robert Macfarlane, published by Penguin & includes tracks from the album Spell Songs.
